Barcelona for 3 days + baby - what to see?
We're heading to Barcelona on Friday night, returning Tuesday night. We have a one-year old, and are staying in an apartment between Plaza Catalunya and Avenida Diagonal.
We'd like to see the inside of the Sagrada Familia (which well book online), but are wondering what else you'd consider a must-see for a trip of this length, and what else we should book in advance online, if anything?
We're very happy to just mainly do a lot of wandering, and are happy to see most of the architecture from outside, unless we get loads of advice to the contrary! It's hard to hold a one-year old's attention for long, though, so don't want to waste time and money getting in to places that we might have to leave shortly after.
Having said that, the science museum look like fun! We'll probably also spend half a day messing about on the beach. Finally, which are the best food markets for wandering round and entertaining a baby?
Thanks very much in advance

Regarding food markets you have the world famous Boqueria, a feast for the senses, right on Las Ramblas: http://www.gardenista.com/posts/la-boqueria-market
And 10 mins walking away, and close to the Cathedral, you have the excellent and more local feel Santa Caterina food market: http://www.tripadvisor.com/Restauran...Catalonia.html
Once here, you're next door to the vibrant and medieval Born district. Perfect to just walk about, taking in the atmosphere and have a bite or a glass in one of the many open air cafes/terraces: http://www.barcelona-tourist-guide.c...s/el-born.html
And the Barceloneta beach is something special, all kinds of people on the beach and along the promenade until sunset. A great and laid-back vibe. http://www.barcelonaturisme.com/Barc...cDc6Pih9txDiJq

Thanks very much Kimhe - that sounds like the perfect day's itinerary right there! Very much looking forward to wandering around and soaking up the atmosphere, and ideally having nice long lunches

You might also want to visit Montjuic (Jewish mountain) almost right in the city center: The castle, the history, the views of the city and the sea, the olympic arenas, the museums, the theaters etc. etc. http://www.barcelonaturisme.com/Parc...docdW4LHetpKP8
Take the cable car up to the Montjuic Castle, magnificent views: http://www.tmb.cat/en/teleferic-de-montjuic

The Castle: http://www.barcelonaturisme.com/Engl...5oCcjlP8pbDIVA
Perhaps La Font del Gat for a meal, a bite or a cup/glass of something in open air before or after going up to the top. Close to the Olympic stadium, many of the museums and the Mercat de les Flors theaters: http://www.lafontdelgat.com/
