Barcelona Apartment w/ Terrace and a View?

My sisters and I are going to Barcelona in May. We are looking for an apartment with a terrace. Now my sister would like a view to that apartment too. I have been searching but the apartment websites I have been looking at don't allow for that kind of search. So I figure if anyone would know it would be my friends the Fodorites! Of course we would like to pay about 1100 euros for 6 nights. If you tell me this is impossible then we can move forward. TIA.

This is very possible but need to know how many bedrooms and beds you need. Are you traveling with one or more sisters?

Hi AGM; Have you seen the other post on Barcelonia today? There is an apartment with a terrace. I think the cost is about right. Richard

Hispanos 7 Suizas has balconies and the front units may have a view. We chose to be in the rear to guarantee quiet.

Sorry for not providing enough information. I need either a three bedroom or a two bedroom with three beds. I also would like internet connectivity.

Danon, I looked at that apartment and really like it. However we are of a certain age where going through a bedroom to get to the bathroom would be a problem.

Richard-thanks I found one there to put up for approval.

Thanks everyone for the help and advice.

OMG!! You should so try this one!! Here´s the link: http://apartmentinbarcelona.net/Esta...aspx?codi=1007

I stayed there for a couple weeks in summer and i´ve never seen such views in my life!

Also the place is pretty quiet and the staff is very helpful, so for us was just perfect!

Hope it helps and good luck!!

AGM... what did you decide on and please let us know how it was - I may be looking for something similar for next year as an add on to a trip to the Laugendoc region

We stayed here, vBRO # 82173 and loved it. Great place.A penthouse-style apartment. Situated in theneighbourhood of Diagonal Mar. Set in a parkland / lakeside setting overlooking the ocean. It is in the Sant Marti quarter, near Port Olympic and only a short distance from stores, hotels (e.g. Hotel Arts & Casino), and scores of restaurants, theatres, museums and all the places of historical and sporting interest. The apartment is only 300 metres from miles and miles of Barcelona' best beaches

We are leaving on Saturday and staying at Valencia Terrace1 Apartment, http://negre.us/apartments/Valencia/P3/. I will post a report (with photos if I can figure that out)when we return.

How was Valencia Terrace1 Apartment? Was it quiet? How large is it? Would you stay there for three weeks?

AGM_Cape_Cod May 4th, 2012 05:40 PM

henrik13 yes, it was quiet. There are two bedrooms, living room, dining area and terrace on one floor. There is a loft bedroom above it. The bathroom is small and the kitchen is well equipted. How many people would be staying for three weeks? The apartment sleeps six though I think it would be tight for three weeks. I would have loved to stay for three weeks.
