Barcelona apartment for 5?

Hi everyone. We're looking for an apartment for August in Barcelona, preferably close to Las Ramblas, but in not too dicey an area. There's 5 of us. Any recommendations? Thanks!

Check out Spledom Suites Barcelona (www.splendomsuites.com/). We just booked a room for 4 adults in early August. Their Grandom Suites has an apartment for 5 adults and the price should be reasonable, if it's available for your dates.

I have found a great site for travellers. Lots of photos and extensive descriptions and reviews of many types of accomodations by people who have stayed there.

We stayed as a family of five adults in an apartment in El Born a few years ago. Loved the location and the apartment. It's about a 15 minute walk to Las Ramblas. Booked through www.likelivingthere.com, where there are pictures and descriptions.

Left and right of the Rambles is the Old Town. Typically, houses and apartments are more often small than big.
In Eixample (like that first link you got from Robert), houses and apartments are generally more spacious.
Besides that I do not see that much reason to make the Rambles the center of your interests. Unless you have an unknown specific reason, that area is mostly seen as not that great. If you want to stay in the historic district, the Born is a much nicer neighborhood IMO.
