Barcelona and Marrakech

We are in the planning stage of traveling to Barcelona and Marrakech in low/shoulder season either April or October (too late for April?). We will be flying from NYC. Will appreciate any feedback, comments, info on air fare. Thanks in advance.

1) What is the most economical way to fly into these destinations: a) buy a RT JFK-Barcelona and a separate RT Barcelona-Marrakech or b) buy an open jaw: JFK-Barcelona/Morocco-JFK?

2) Will Vuelling the best airline to fly from/to Barcelona?

When we went to Morocco, we did a RT to Paris and then an RT from Paris to Morocco and back. That was the cheapest way of doing it. I suspect that you will find the same thing by looking at open jaw fares on www.kayak.com and low cost airline fares on http://www.flylc.com/directall-en.asp

Go price it out on Kayak or another website. That's the only way to tell what will be less expensive because pricing changes all the time.

Where are you flying to/from Barcelona - from NYC, you can't fly Vueling.

Thanks Michael. I just did that, right now, it seems almost the same. Thanks Big Russ, I am going to fly wih Vueling for our RT Bar.-Mor. (see item #2).

Does Vueling fly into barcelona (BCN) or into smaller airport? I thought I read it once that it flies from Girona? Thanks.
