Barcelona

We will be in Barcelona for two days in October. Is there a conducted city tour that anyone can recommend that will give us an overview for future visits? Terry

We are going before a cruise, and have heard that there are 2 hop on/off buses that pretty much show you every sight there. One does the south and one covers the north and each one covers the old and new and they take about 2 hours if you don't get off. But I could be wrong!

They're a little cheesy, but those open-top bus tours do provide a decent overview of the city, and being able to see the city from up high gives you a pretty good 3-D map vision of Barcelona.
Enjoy, it's a fantastic city.

aside from the efficient tourist bus, it would be difficult to get such a concise overview of this sprawling city.

Hi Zwho. Quess who? Don and I are planning to do both tours.. Just to get an overview and then get out bearings and go from there, I don't think it can hurt. I'm really getting pumped for this trip though.
I think we should go to India. Has anyone been there?
