Bantry, Ireland

I am looking for recommendations for a B&B in Bantry or nearby.

You might try irelandexpert.com or irelandyes.com and go into their askPat or Q&A for some idea.

Can't remember the name of our B&B but was in ITB book. Have dinner at the Snug. a local pub with lots of locals and fun

When you are in the Bantry area consider visiting Mizen Head.Put Mizen Head into the search box for details

Another to look at: Ballylickey Manor House is a Relais & Chateaux just a little north of Bantry. They have beautiful grounds. Envy you -- I thought Bantry Bay one of the prettiest areas on our trip to Ireland!

Frank,

I don't have a B&B recommendation, but last May my family and I rented a great house in Glengarriff, which is about 20 minutes from Bantry. Here's the link to the place we rented from...http://www.cashelfean.com/

Have a great trip! We love Ireland and can't wait to go back!
