Bamberg - Looking for a cheap hotel.
 

Hi everyone. Has anyone a hotel recommendation for Bamberg that won't break the budget(Less than $100 US)? A small, clean double would serve and the bathroom/shower setup is not that important to me. Thanks...

there are a lot of nice and cheap hotels/pensions in Bamberg. For ex. Bergschlösschen or Hotel Christel. Take a look at www.bamberg.de, they have a nice site in english too.

For hotels or gasthauses, you might want to check out the city of Bamberg's website at http://www.stadt.bamberg.de. click on Tourismus and you should get a menu where you can click on English. They have recommendations for places to stay.

Also, if you like beer, Bamberg is famous for it's smoked "Hecht Schlenferla Rauchbier". It's rare to find it anywhere outside of Bamberg.
