Baltic cruise clothes question
Leaving on May 22 for a Baltic cruise. Wondered in anyone has been there at this time that could offer advice on their experience regarding temperature, rain, etc. Also, anything you thought to bring that was essential or you were grateful for, or anything you wished you'd left at home. Any advice would be much appreciated!

Who knows about the weather. Just in Normandy in April and no rain with sunshine. In July very warm in Helsinki (people loved it) we found but not likely for you in May. I would suggest layered outfits expecting chilly temps. Expect rain too, don't you think? Especially in Baltics.
Bill in Boston P.S. Enjoy your travel...we were in that area with Grand Circle. |
In general expect temperatures between 60 F and 77 F (the latter on a warm day with a bit of luck).
Bring layers - and some light rainproof jacket. |
To make it clear: It's unlikely to be cold. Some light sweater plus some polo and long-sleeve shirts in combination with a light rainproof jacket should be sufficient.

When it rains, does it tend to pour or sprinkle?
