Baggage Storage at Dublin Airport

We are arriving at Dublin airport at 09:15 on the 29th of this month and we plan to spend the night at the Hilton Dublin Airport Hotel about 5 miles or so east off of Malahide road. However, their checkin time isn't until 3PM. I'd love to take their shuttle bus over to the hotel after we clear customs, but I don't know if the hotel will let us drop off our bags and leave them there until we return from a visit to dublin city later that afternoon. Does anyone have a feel for their policy?

If they say no, I was wondering if their was a baggage storage area at the airport that we could use? Anyone have any thoughts on this as an option?

My grandkids and family will arrive the following morning and I've reserved a 6 pax small automatic van that we'll rent for a week as our transportation during our week in Killarney, so I didn't want to start the rental until they arrive. Thanks in advance.....

Most of the good hotels allow an early drop of baggage prior to check in. You would though need to send an email to confirm they offer this facility.

Left Luggage at Dublin airport used to be a bit on the expensive side, haven't used it for years.

Thanks tony... I'll shoot of a request and see if I can get an early drop off. If things are OK going that route, we'll take a bus that runs down Malahide into the center of Dublin. Do you know where I can find a bus route map that will show me where to get on/off in the center of Dublin somewhere near the Liffy? thanks

This is a great web site for getting around Dublin, works better than the Dublin Bus offering

Thanks you're right about the Dublin bus line web site. It takes a bit of getting used to. Looks like bus number 42 & 43 will tke me where I want to go. Great interactive map views of the city on hittheroad. Now if I can just get an email back from Hilton things will start to come together.
