Seems that this storm is hitting the entire country.

Heading out there in three weeks. Keeping my fingers crossed and taking trains instead of cars as suggested by fellow Fodorites.

Good idea to take trains - Rome and Florence are under flood watch.

Weather could break by Christmas. It's 55 degrees in Rome today - just very wet.

Yow, it looks like I left Rome just in time. I wasn't so sure, though, when I returned home to snowstorms the next day.
