Bad Home Exchange Experience?
 

Has anyone had a bad Home Exchange experience?

I remember hearing of just one and it was probably down to lack of research about the area. A couple in Florida exchanged their house in a quiet area with a couple in London. The London couple had a good time, but the Florida couple get 'phoning in what was the middle of the night with complaints. One of them was a complaint about noise, well London is noisy. Another time they called in the early hours to say that the car had been towed away. They hadn't spotted the notices where they'd parked. The poor man in their house in Florida couldn't really see what he was supposed to do about it.

In this weekends New York Times Sunday magazine,they have done a small spread in the Styles section about two couples with children who trade homes for a weekend.They mention the success of Home Exchange.com.
