You know what? These stories are great. <BR>I have never had the nerve to try a salon that is not my own tried and true neighborhood one. My eyes have been opened to this new experience.

Yes, I too feel that the way women communicate is alot different when we are together. It may be the same when men are at barbers. In a salon our defenses are down and we talk from the heart. How could we do otherwise when our hair is held captive. I have made friends with other women over teas and at hair salons in Europe.
