BA Travel Insurance . . . Worth It?

I'm travelling on 8/21 to London from LAX. Should I invest in insurance. It would cost around $130.

It depends on what your risk factors are and what is included in the coverage. We don't buy either travel insurance or extended warranties on cars, appliances, etc. as we have no unusual risk factors.

It's impossible to answer that question without more info, like what does it cover? In any case, check other sources such as www.insuremytrip.com or travelguard and compare policies and prices.

What does the insurance cover? Read the fine print. Decide for yourself if it will give you a peace of mind.

If your trip is NOT expensive

If you don't need medical coverage while out of the country. This is generally for folks past 65.

If your luggage is NOT high end.

Then you probably DON'T need travel insurance.

Hard to know without knowing what it covers, as others said. But if it's BA, it sounds like it only covers the air ticket for some unknown things.

I'd say no, that is really expensive for just an air ticket insurance, and what does it cover, anyway?
