B&B's or small pretty hotels in Florence & Rome?

For October, 3 couples travelling together would appreciate suggestions of either B&B's or small attractive hotels, no more than $100 a night, with private baths in Florence & Rome. Any ideas? Many thanks

Hi Lois, Have you tried doing a search for 'Florence' plus Italy? I know I've seen a number of threads regarding budget accommodations in Florence, and they might pop up if you do that. Another idea might be to go to Rick Steves Graffiti Wall -- There have been numerous recommendations there as well. Bon Voyage.

Get a copy of Sandra Gustafson's Cheap Sleeps in Italy. <BR> We have reservations next summer at Dei Mori (http://www.bnb.it/deimori/) for about $85 per night. It's cited in the Gustafson book. Email me mid-July and I'll report.
