B&B's in county Roscommon
My wife and I will be heading into the midland section from Donegal. We have 3 nights available; the last night I want to stay in or near Shannon. Any suggestions for county Offaly and Tipperary also needed. Thanks

I've stayed at the Abbey House B&B in Boyle which is truly right next to the abbey. Boyle is a nice town on the Boyle River and the Abbey House sits on that very river. It's a nice setting in a neat hold house. I'll stay there any time I visit.

I'm not familar with the Abbey House B& B, but highly recommend Boyle. Great spot.

HArley,
If it is a B&B enroute from Donegal for which you are requesting assistance, then Boyle and, therefore, either Linsfort Guest House, www.linsfort.com, Cesh Corran, http://www.marycooney.com/, or Abbey House would be my suggestions. Make sure that you arrive with enough time to be able to explore Boyle Abbey. For a great meal, stop in to the Moving Stairs, which has excellent Fish & Chips. There is usually Trad music there, as well. As for Offaly & Tipperary, what is it that you are hoping to see or do whilst in these counties? That will help with any recommendations.
