B&B's Galway, Dingle
 

I would love recommendations for B&b's in Galway, Dingle (Emlagh is booked) and Kenmare. We would like to keep it around the 35-40Euro price.

I stayed for a couple of nights at Cill Bhreac in Dingle (pronounced Kill Vrack) last October. The house is just beautiful and Angela is a wonderful hostess. I had the room with three beds, which was spacious and comfortable. And the breakfast was excellent as well as her recommendations. It's just a couple minutes from the Main Street and her prices may work for you.

we always favored Doyle's red-painted resto in downtowen Dingle..and about five years ago we stayed in their guest house...which got good reviews in the NYTImes...as follows:

The eight bedrooms with bathrooms cost $98 for a double, calculated at $1.58 to the pound, and include breakfast in the restaurant and the offer of a dinner reservation. Closed from mid-November to mid-March. Additionally, the Doyles have just completed work up the street on four charming apartment units with small kitchens, each designed for two people and for longer stays. These cost $442 a week. <<<

sorry to hear that...they were such a hospitable pair...I imagine that the quality hasn't changed too much....so Stella is off on her own place. We still have her brown bread recipe, wife hasn't been brave enough to try it. Hope they didn't repaint the bright red on the resto. What happened to John? Still in town?

Hi! We stayed in the Towerview B&B in Dingle, and loved it. Mary was ever so hospitable, the rooms were great, the breakfasts were yummy, and we even got to feed the baby lamb that they had in the backyard. Calliesgirl - I'm glad you're staying at Cill Bhreac! Also when you do the drive of the Peninsula (assuming you'll do so) don't pass by the museum. It's really interesting and Harry, the owner is also a musician and might sing you a song too!
