B&B suggestions for Dublin, Kinsale, Killarney, Ennis

Looking for some suggestions for places to stay. We need 4 rooms as there are 9 of us, and would like to keep it under $130/night.

Thanks for your help!

A Guest house is a B&B with a minimum of 5 letting bedrooms. these are the only places you are likely to get 4 rooms together. I would suggest that you also look at hotels, there are many smaller family run hotels at decent prices.

Kinsale, don't go don't send anyone there

Killarney, Eviston House is in the centre of Killarney and would be my first choice giving the rooms you require.

Ennis, either the Auburn Lodge or West Country hotels, not sure any B&B in Ennis would have 4 rooms but try Grey Gables or Glenomra House. there are others but out of town and the main hotels in the centre might push your budget?

Dublin depends on when you aim to visit but there is mainly hotel accommodation, possibly try the Travelodge St Stephens green.

Why do you feel so strongly about Kinsale? Where would you stay instead?

Tony would prefer that you visit Dingle.

This is our second visit to Ireland and we've stayed in Dingle, which was our favorite. However, we'll be with a group and need to stay near the Cork area for one night.

Dingle might (only might) be cheaper than Kinsale? 2 of the 3 places on my nice to visit wouldn't stay list.

Lots of folk like Kinsale, even more like Dingle, including folk who have only read about the towns.. Rick Steves tour's go and stay in both places which might be enough reasons for some of us who live here not to.

Honestly? Kinsale is fine its just that I can't recommend anywhere for the night.

I can help with Ennis...if you don't mind being a bit out of town. Lovely place; stayed there twice. Working farm.

Problem with Eden Hill is the 10 minute drive back from town if you want to have a night out with a drink or two involved unless you have a designated driver. Think they have 6 rooms so not sure you would get 4 rooms but no harm asking [email protected]

We had a lovely stay in Killarney here:

Our rate (in April 2015) was 100 euro per night per room inclusive of breakfast and taxes.

I enjoyed Crystal Springs in Killarney. A minute out of town by car. Wonderful breakfasts and nice location on the river. Just ask for big rooms.

Thanks everyone. We decided to stay at the Whitehouse in Kinsale.

You might want to consider houses through air bnb? We had great luck traveling as a group of 7. :)
