B&B Recommendations for Provence
 

We are going to Provence this May and want to stay in a B&B. We’re not real particular about the location but we prefer it to be in a rural area and somewhat centrally located. I’ve been looking in the area between Avignon and Forcalquier and north of Axe-en-Provence. Our only real deal breaker is that it has to be 60 Euros or less. I’ve done the usual searches and have located several possibilities, but it’s always good to hear from someone with 1st hand experience. Any Recommendations?

We very much enjoyed the Mas du Kairos in Venasque for 10 nights this past September. One of the rooms is under 60 euros (we stayed in it, and it suited us very well), and one slightly over. More details at http://www.masdukairos.com/site%20gb/index.htm

dgassa, Mme. Saulnier is a wonderful host, serving delicious breakfasts, and is well informed with what to see in Provence, including the important little details (e.g., what to do on rainy days, what cities have the little tourist trains worth using, etc.). We hope to return there again soon, as our first visit to Provence was quite a whirlwind, and there is much we still wish to do.
