Jana: My husband and I have stayed at the same Guest House in Edinburgh on three visits: The Dunedin Guest House at 8 Priestfield Road, Edinburgh. Marsella and David are incredible hosts and the home is large, historic, the rooms are large, beautifully decorated and all contain bathrooms. Breakfast is included and "cooked to order." Marsella is a third-generation innkeeper who knows Edinburgh (restaurants, sites, etc.) like no other. Also, they are four-star, but kept their prices to two-star. You can book directly at [email protected]. Have a wonderful trip--Scotland is SO beautiful and the people are the friendliest we've ever encountered anywhere (yes, that includes Ireland!).
