B&B in Provence

We will be in Provence from May 16-19 and are looking for a nice B&B to stay in (preferably under 100 euros for double occupancy). Can anyone help us out?

I spent 2 weeks in Provence last May, and stayed 5 of those nights in a wonderful B&B near St.Remy, called Presbytere St. Thomas. You can look at their website on www.avignon-et-provence.com. I had the ground floor room, which was large, beautifully decorated, nice modern bathroom, and the room looked out on the lovely garden. The room was around 70 euros, and included a wonderful breakfast.
Marie-Chantal, the owner, is absolutely charming, and very caring of her guests, but you have perfect privacy, separate entry from the outside, and parking in her courtyard. For me, the icing on the cake was her beautiful big dog, Balou, who would never bother you, unless you let him know you LOVED him, which I did immediately. From then on, he greeted me like a long lost friend everytime I returned, and really loved me back! I would return to this place in a heartback, and hope to someday. If you have any questions, I'll be happy to answer them.

Sue4 Thanks for the info. I was unable to find a link to their website on www.avgnon-et-provence.com. Do you know what their website address is?

Sue4 - I found it. The name as change to Le Presbytère en Provence. Thanks again for your help.

Several others here have also stayed at Presbytere St. Thomas, and you should be able to find other comments by searching for that term. We were extremely happy about our 4 nights there in 2004, and the value was exceptional.

Oh yes, I've sent lots of people there since we stayed there in 2003. Sigh. It is perfectly located to daytrip around Provence from.

I think there are also one or two of our frequent posters here who own b&bs in Provence. Keep topping and maybe they'll show up.

Thank you for posting info about this place. It looks delightful. Here's a direct link:

I'm in the process of pre-planning a trip there in 2006 and have bookmarked this site!

We stayed there two summers ago and it was quite nice. The woman who runs it is a gracious hostess. Her English was fairly limited, but we were able to communicate. The breakfasts were great as well. I don't think you could go wrong here.
