B&B in or around Shannon?

Can someone recommend a B&B (that will accept vouchers) that I can tell my Travel Agent to book for our first night in Ireland? Doesn't have to be right by the airport, but preferably within about 20 miles of there. Thanks!

There are plenty of B&Bs in Bunratty some of which will accept vouchers. Go to:
www.townandcountry.ie and search for B&Bs that accept vouchers. I've stayed at the Park House which is pretty close to town and is nice. Headly Court also gets good reviews and they accept vouchers. There are other possibilities like Ennis around Co. Clare. Bunratty is a pretty popular choice for it's proximity to the airport and it's castle.

Also, contact the Irish Tourist Bureau in NYC and they will send you the town & country book of all B&B's in Ireland that accept vouchers. ((b))

Stayed at Headly Court & Kathleen is a darling. Big comfortable rooms...very clean. Huge showers. Fab french toast.

I stayed at the Riverside B&B on Clonmoney West in Bunratty. Its only 10 minutes from the airport and was clean and comfortable with a good breakfeast. I would stay there again.
