Vincenzo,

Thanks for posting about this.

It just so happens that we will be in Italy during this period and we have a b&b booked for 2 nights from Feb 29 departing on March 2 in Modica.

We are staying at one of the places listed in the promotion. Should I contact them and ask them if they are participating?

Or it would it be considered rude too late as I have already booked with them? Any thoughts?

Thanks,
Sally

They said they would happily give us the promotion!

Thank you so much Vincenzo!!

GREAT, Sally !
Let's hope many and many will read this post.
Why not save money when easy to do ?
By the way, you wilw stay in Modica. Well. Do you want a suggestion about dinner ?
No doubt: LA GAZZA LADRA, the chef Accursio Capraro will become famous very soon because he is very clever.
The location is unique and very elegant and charming, it is in the same palace of the best hotel of Modica (and one of the best of the whole Sicily) "Palazzo Failla".
website: www.ristorantelagazzaladra.it
It is expensive, but . . you saved money !!!
And if you want to buy the true chocolate of Modica and especially torrone, two smart names: ANTICA DOLCERIA BONAIUTO and DONNA ELVIRA DOLCERIA.

Have a lovely trip, ciao.

Vincenzo,

That restaurant looks wonderful! Expensive, but it's okay as we saved a lot on the hotel! So we will go there. Thank you for the chocolate shops too - we'll go to those as well.

Sally, listen, one day from the railway station of Modica, by train, go to Ragusa and have lunch (or dinner, or even breakfast) to this unique restaurant LA STAZIONE DI RAGUSA IBLA (www.lastazionediragusaibla.it)
It is a delicious and unique experience, believe me.
Have a lovely trip, ciao.

Vincenzo
