Azores - Itinerary for 2 weeks this Sept 2014
 

My wife and I are flying to Ponta Delgato in late August 2014, and will be staying there for 4 days. We then want to spend another 4 to 6 days on another island (or perhaps 2 islands) before flying to Madeira for 4-5 days. So, looking for suggestions on what is the "best" (I know that depends on your interests) to visit after P. Delgato. We enjoy easy hiking, browsing little shops, picnicking, easy bicycle rides, soaking up nature

You mean Ponta Delgada. "Delgada" means "thin". So it's the "Thin Point", because of its location.
