Awesome Restaurants

Please share any really great restaurants experiences you have had in any of the following places:

Amsterdam
Delft - (Harlaam, Rotterdam, and Hague)
Otterlo
Bruges
Ghent
Antwerp
Brussels

A place does not have to be expensive. It could just be a fun place to go. I started a post like this for the UK and got some really great suggestions.

I have yet to find a restaurant in Belgium that didn't have really good to excellent to incredible food. Holland is generally good - but you can find places that are ordinary;

If you decide to spend a day or two in the east - which is fascinating - a couple of places that we really liked when we stayed in Spa;

the Restaurant in the Manoir de Lebioles (we stayed there too - fantastic both for food and as a luxury get away) - including champagne and interesting amuse bouche in front of a huge roaring fire in the huge entrance hall (it was Sept and chilly at night)

Moderately priced Restaurant L'Auberge in the town was also excellent - all 4 of us loved each course

Sorry can't list Brugge restaurants - one of my kitties chewed up that diary

The Pancake Bakery near the Anne Frank house in Amsterdam is tasty. I've heard several people say there are better/cheaper places but the few random other places I tried were disappointing....

Train station stands for waffles in Belgium!

I like the Pancake Bakery too but it's not in the awesome league, it's just simple good food. It is, however, pretty representative of Dutch food. And it's been there for a really long time, at least since the 1980s, so it's stood the test of time. Yeah, I'll second them.
