Avra Hotel Rafina feedback please
 

Hello, Three of us need to stay over one night near the Athens Airport. It seems very difficult to find a room near the airport for three persons in one room. Does anyone have any experience with the Avra Hotel in Rafina?

HI,

I read that the Avra is really nice, close to the airport and good food and walking around the waterfront. All in all, a good option if one is flying from Athens in less than 24 hours.

I know it's been a year but hopefully you went there and can offer some information. (Can anyone?)

We are thinking of staying there in May and also need to know if this is a good idea rather than go all the way into Athens for a short overnite.

We did stay there last summer. Great idea. Glad we did not go into Athens. Ity was a great quiet place to decompress. I would highly recomment. Also, you can take a bus to the airport 3 euoros and 30 minutes. It is VERY close by and easy

Any favorite restaurants?

There were plenty of fresh fish resuraurants just there in the bay. Just a stones throw away. Can't remember the place we ate but it was upstairs and really good.
