<BR>TOPPING - concerned customer - not a troll!

My purpose in posting this is solely to help others avoid my experience. particularly during the busy summer months when alternatives can be scarce. <BR>As i had been asked prior to leaving to post my opinion of the hotel, that is precisely what I have done.<BR><BR>I am quite pleased to have discoverd the alternative hotel, so life has a funny way of having things work out. This experience is just one of many requiring shock absorbers when traveling. If you don't have them, it's probably best not to travel!!<BR>:-)

To anonymouse and others who wonder why I didn't stay at the Hotel Thomas D'Aquin for the second two nights: THEY WERE SOLD OUT EXCEPT FOR THE ONE NIGHT! That was precisely the problem: for the dates I needed, everyone was fully booked, which is obviously why my first night of lodging at the de Lille disappeared.<BR><BR>

P.S. Another hotel I can recommend is a 3-star in the Marais, the Caron de Beaumarchais, on Rue Vielle-du-Temple. Unfortunately, you have to book reasonably far in advance, as it is small and quite popular. The owners couldn't be nicer, and while the rooms are small, they are not uncomfortably so.

Get a grip...enough topping this already. OK - bad hotel thanks for the warning. Sick of it popping up in the top 10. Try getting out of the house a little.
