Availing discounts with the Prague card

1. The PRague card gets discounts for things like the "Prague after dark " tourss or the Underground tours. So where do I book these tours? Any specific operator, but the site doesn't mention any.

2. And will I get a ticket for the 1 PM PRague castle concert(the Lobkowicz Palace) at the last minute? I am not prebooking it because the card gives me a discount.

3. And the card gives 50% discount for visits to the Old Town Bridge Tower. Do you get this discount more than once(if I want to visit the tower more than once)?

Thanks.

I have never used a discount card anytime I have been in Prague as I don't frequent the main tourist sites.

this will give you some info on the cards but I don't know if it will help, you can always contact Jason the owner of the site for more info through the contact section on the website or on faceBook.Just tell him Unclegus sent you.

Jason's info is usually very good ,we are good friends and often meet up for a meal and a few beers when we are both in the city.

I haven't used that card, but for the discount on tours, the booklet you get with it tells you where to go to book those. Basically, it is one operator and they tell you the ticket site (for the tours, I think they mainly use Martin Tour, they have two sites, one is near Namesty Republicky and I think another around the main square, not sure, but they tell you the addresses).

I'm not sure, but I think you only get the discounts once.

I"m surprised that website says they don't speak English at the Cedok office as I've been there (the one on Na Prikope), and they were quite fluent. IN fact, I like to buy train tickets there as it is pleasant and easier and they charge a very minimal service fee .

I haven't been to Prague but I never buy those discount cards. What's the point? Trying to max out the so called deals the card offers leaves you exhausted and you flit from place to place. Those cards never work for me.

Thinking of adding a few days in Prague to the end of my Poland trip next summer because I've never been (good a reason as any).

unclegus, that was such a helpful page!! Thanks for recommending it.
Christina and lauren, thanks!! I did get a booklet, it does say you neeed to book most tours through MArtin Tours, and the Prague after dark tour through their office itself. Have you been on any of these tours? Are they good, do they give enough time at sites? I'm not sure if I should do the PRague after dark tour with someone, or should I do it on my own.

if you go to the home Page of the Living Prague website, there is a 10% of Premiant tours ,there is also a link to some restaurant discounts, might be worth having a look.
