AutoEurope one-stop shopping

Going to England in March. Has anyone ever purchased airline tickets, rented a car & booked a hotel from the AutoEurope website?? Any successes or warnings???

Have used AutoEurope a couple of times for car rental, and had no problems. Cars there, cars as specified, charges as agreed upon.

Auto Europe is still a middle man - like any other travel agency or places like Travelocity - My suggestion is to shop around a bit before accepting any offers. You also may have a cheaper, better and a larger choice with a Travel Agent.
My advice is to Shop Around, esspecially for such popular destination.

They are a reliable company & can save you a lot of money on rental cars. They got me an Avis car for a week for $125 less than Avis wanted.
I just used them in October for a rental car in France and was very pleased. As mentioned, they are a "middleman"; picked up the car at Europcar and everything was as it was supposed to be, at considerably less cost than I found anywhere else. Had to change my reservations dates and pick-up/drop-off points at least once, and customer service was very good. (I checked info on the website, then talked to reps by phone and received written confirmation within a couple of days.)

I do think you can do better for hotels and airfare, pricewise. Their hotels seem to be mostly large, American-style chains, which are rarely the best value (though in London at least, who knows?)
