sometimes happens at the beginning end, too. we picked up a car in italy last spring and were inches from driving it off the lot when i noticed that it was only 1/4 full. ran back to the office and the guy claimed to be very embarrassed at his mistake. it was about $50 worth of gas so we were really glad we noticed.
