Austrian student residence permit
 

Dear all,

I am from Sri Lanka. I got admission to follow a 2 year MSc in Austria, starting in October. I have following questions. Hope you can be kind enough to help me.

1. If I book accmmodation for one month, will that be enough to obtain a residence permit? This is because I'm going to find better accommodation after ariving in Austria. So I am going to book a guest student room in university dormitories.

2. Will a travel insurance covering all risks in Austria be enough? Do I need to have any other documents along with this?

3. Can my wife obtain visa later, after I arrive in Austria?
