August 19-25 Portugal Trip
 

I do realize this is last-min planning, but alternative plans with a friend changed. I'm looking to arrive in Porto on the 19th (likely 5 PM). Would greatly appreciate help with an itinerary that is reasonable for the time period and covers Porto, Lisbon, Duomo River, etc. I have also head good things about Geres National Park so I might look to do a day trip tour to the park. Is this worth including as well? Thanks in advance!

If you drop etc. and Geres National Park, you can do Porto


and Lisbon


by train with Coimbra in between and the lower Douro valley with a day's cruise starting in Porto.



I can't imagine much more than that even if renting a car and racing through the countryside.
