Au Bon Accueil Paris

Does anyone know this place? I'm trying to pick somewhere south of the river for a special but not break the bank meal. Views please?

We've dined here and were pleased. It does get good reviews.

I'd also look at Les Fables de la Fontaine 131 St.Dominique in the 7th Tel: 01 44 18 37 55. It is just receiving it's first * and is very reasonable. We ate here 2 years ago and just loved it, and have reservations to return in February!

Au Bon Accueil has a good reputation. I have eaten there many times over the years.

You can sort of get a view of Eiffel Tower from outside.

I will be in Paris on Monday. Will not be dining there this trip.

I assume you mean south and west, the 7th?

I went to the Bistrot du 7eme which is at 57 blvd Latour Maubourg, 1/2 block from Metro Latour Maubourg. I had seen it recommended and decided to try. I was quite happy with it, small, intimate, friendly service. I chose from their 20euro menu (terrine de porc, escalope de veau -veal,etc..). Afterwards, short walk to the Seine.

We have been there several times and love it. The staff is so firendly and helpful and the food delicious. When you leave you see the Eiffel Tower.

I second the recommendation for Les Fables-it is just wonderful (mostly seafood, fyi).

There are many good to great restaurants in the area.

I think your question was about Au Bon Accueil, was it not?
