Can you people who don't agree just stop making stupid remarks? This is getting tiresome. It's just like when someone mentions "McDonald's" or "Parishuttle" the insects come out of the woodwork.

And by the way to "How many folds" the correct spelling of the horse is Lippizan which surely came from your mouth.

Carla, thanks for the great suggestion on these wonderful travel dresses. I plan to pick up a few before our departure to France & Spain. Nordstrom also has a wonderful selection of comfortable chic travel shoes and lovely handbags.

Just getting back to some of the comments- I will check on the fabric and washability and get back to you- It is some kind of synthetic fabric. I know that these dresses are expensive but I am sure that they go on sale. I never find a bargain because I rarely enjoy shopping and don't have time to look around. If I find something I like and the cut and fit are perfect, I buy it.
I did not notice which department it was in. I can only say that it was on the top floor of the store near the designer clothes section.
And yes draping is important- everyone has figure flaws- it's nice to find clothing that flatters a woman's body- I was able to go braless in one of the dresses without it being obvious because of the draping- I had to because it had a plunging neckline. The other dress came with staps which looked nice for daytime. These could be removed and the dress became stapless for evening.
Although I'm thin, I don't like my thighs (too heavy) and my bottom is too flat- because of the draping I looked like I had thinner thighs and a round bottom- much less painful and less expensive than liposuction. I will wear one of these dresses to a casual cocktail party this weekend and am thrilled that I don't have to bother with the drycleaners or ironing- I haven't had any time since I got back from Paris.

Carla is right about these dresses. I bought one a few years ago (yes, they've been around that long) and I paid well under $100 for it on sale at the Saks outlet store. It is a wrap style with long sleeves and can be worn anywhere from work to dinner in the evening and never wrinkles. I did see them also on Bluefly which was mentioned previously.

To the person who asked previously: the dress material is 100% silk.

these dresses are aslo available on one of the shopping channels maybe QVC or HOme Shopping club in far less expensive versions. they run in sizes from petite to 26/28, these are nothing more then a revamp of her famous wrap dress from the 70's
