Atrs et Metiers or Hotel de Ville metro-best area to stay?

hi,
I'm picking between these 2 areas for a week apartment stay in April. The apts both sound good, so I'd like to stay in the area with best ambience.
Your thoughts are really appreciated!!

Hi D,

Enter your addresses at www.pagesjaunes.fr and take a virtual tour of the neighborhood.

The cool thing about Paris is - the ambience changes every coupla blocks... and an afternoon glass of wine brings ambience to wherever you are...

It's better to choose based on:
- your accomodations
- your transportation options
- of course, no one wants to stay on a street with closed-up bldgs and walls full of graffiti, so the PagesJaunes.fr idea is always good. You can look up/down the street and see all of the buildings.

If you can't figure out how to enter your addresses at pagesjaunes.fr, try http://photos.pagesjaunes.fr instead.

I loved staying in the Marais. My metro stop was the Hotel de Ville.
