Atrina Trad Houses in Oia
I'm looking for information on Atrina Traditional Houses, www.atrina.gr. Has anyone stayed there or visited and could tell me what they're like? thanks
|
Hi Dona,
There is one report about Atrina on TripAdvisor.com, and it was very favorable. I'm booked there in Mid-June. I can tell you that they are located towards the top of the Caldera so there aren't a lot of steps to deal with. They're very close to Katikes. You may also want to check out www.countryhouse.gr as it has more detailed info and photos on the property. I'm booked in the Tholos House and my family is in both the Jr. Suite and the Sr. Suite. I'll post a full report when I'm back, but I don't know if that will be soon enough to help you. If you find out anything more, please post it here and I'll do the same. |
Thank you. I thought their rates might be a bit lower, but when I emailed them they responed with rates comparable to Esperas. I'm still searching around to see if there is anything else out there on them. I'll post back if I do find anything.

When I'm going in June, Esperas was $67 Euro more a day than Atrina. This is comparing the one bedroom Tholos House at Atrina with a Superior Traditional House (also one bedroom) at Esperas. From what I've heard from friends is that Katikes and Perivolas are the top two places to stay in Oia(with price tags to match), with Esperas coming in at a close third.
We were very close to staying at Esperas. But with so many family members already booked at Atrina we've decided to stay together. I plan to walk down and check out Esperas while I'm there. |
I'm taking a look at Atrina too, very interested in hearing what folks had to say. A few posted on Tripadvisor looked great. Looking for a two bedroom for family of 4 (two teenagers) for a week.

Brotherly, any help here?

No, sorry, I haven't had a look at them. Website looks good, though.
