Atm's on Crete
 

Are there ATM's located inland on Crete? I know they are plentiful in the cities on the north coast, but we are spending 3 weeks in small places inland. Thanks.

Thanks; I have looked at Visa's and they did not show any inland but 2 in Ierapetra on the south coast. So maybe there are none inland.

Villages don't have ATM's, you will find them where there are banks usually. This means you should look for bigger places and cities. ( and they are located on the coast...)

I have an app on my i phone that tells me where the nearest bank or ATM is, and this is a great help.

When I'm on smaller islands I just draw enough € from ATMs to last me a few days at a time. That would work for remote areas in Crete as well, since you will probably be visiting a larger town at least a couple of times each week.

Thanks to all. MasterCard's website is better for locations and usually if an ATM takes MasterCard the also take Visa. So we are good.
