atm in Rome airport?

We will need some cash for tolls, etc. Is there an ATM in the Rome airport?

xxx Jun 7th, 2002 07:13 AM

No- the Italians and other Europeans are still stuck in the 19th century. Please can you bring your marvellous modern advancements with you from America - we're so backward over here.

Question for Cynthia: name me an international airport without an ATM. Just one will do and then I'll go hide in my cave again.

Howard Jun 7th, 2002 07:20 AM

xxx's sarcasm aside, yes, there are ATMs at the airport in Rome.
You must lead a very pathetic life if all you can add to this forum is your sarcasm.

I would be more impressed if you had the balls to use your real name.

Cynthia
I still recommend bringing some euros with you, from your bank at home.
Airport ATMs have been known to be broken or out of cash, and at best often have long lines especially during peak hours of plane arrivals

Agree with Elaine; landed at CDG 3 wks ago w/o euro, and the only convenient ATM was not working that early morning. Easily found a cab that takes credit cards, but it has made me resolve to always take enough euro to "get started".

Cynthia--go by your local AAA and pick up a tip pack of Euros--just as a back up==

There is an ATM just outside of the Customs Hall upon arrival--whether it is full or empty is anyone's guess--Just come prepared...

There are no ATM's in the entire country of Cambodia (as of November 2001).
