Looking to book a flight from Izmir to Istanbul. Turkish Airways is about double the price of Atlasjet. Any issues I should be aware of?
Just checking before I book. TIA

I doubt anyone could enlighten you.

I am usually under the possible misconception that if someone is offering something for too cheap a price, there may be a catch to it.

However, Pegasus Airlines, Sunexpress, Anatolian Jet also have cheap flights and THY will sell the first something percent of their tickets quite cheaply, so i do not know.

I have never flown Atlas but many companies will get only Atlas tickets to their employees, and they cannot be all very dispensable ( one rank below carbon paper as Dilbert's boss said one time)

We flew Atlasjet from Antalya to Istanbul last fall. It was a good flight, good equipment, good crew, and we wouldn't hesitate to fly them again. We flew THY, too, and we thought Atlasjet was comparable. Hope that helps.

I always fly Atlas Jet from Ist - Izmir. I like it. It is only a 30 minute flight, but the flight attendants serve drinks, they turn the tv on and the planes are nice and clean.

I'm making sure all of our wedding guests fly Atlas Jet from Ist-Izmir this summer because the airline also has a great free shuttle to Selcuk and a few other towns. Not to mention the drive is beautiful.

Oh also check with Onur Air. Atlas Jet is better but they both have comparable rates and I have flown with them too.

Grimmy, I too was worried about how cheap the price for Atlas Jet was but I went for it. Traveled to Izmir from Istanbul April 1st and have nothing negative to say about them. Safe travels
