Athens to Santorini

We are flying from Athens to Santorini and have 2.5 hours between flights. I assume we fly out of the same airport that we fly in to from the US, is that correct?

Your airfare tickets would no doubt show this?

Yes, it's the same airport and it's not huge so it's easy to find your way around.

Yes, there is only one Athens Airport, and furthermore, international and domestic flight gates are on different ends of the same terminal. The old Hellenikon Airport closed years ago, and was used for some venues in the 2004 Olympics.

If you are flying to Santorini with Aegean or Olympic airlines you can check in online up to 48 hours in advance and print out boarding passes. Then all you have to to is leave your bags at the drop off point without joining the lines at the checkin counters.

Your 2.5 hour layover is ample time between flights.
