I would go with Spondi(French/Med) instead. Its the best in the city.

:o yikes! the prices at Spondi!

Entrees are priced at 40-60 Euros.

Add appetizers, salad, or soup and a bottle of wine, this will total 200+ Euro for two.

I also had euro-shock when I checked the spondi prices. I'm sure it is wonderful, but if anyone has recommendations for restaurants/tavernas in Athens for around 80 euros for two with a bottle of wine please chime in!

I had really great meals at small cafes in the Plaka and I don't think I paid more than 7e for an entree.
