Athens on 25th March

Reference: Athens: I'll be arriving on March 24. March 25th is a Holiday. Are the museums open? What should I do? Will that day be a good day to make a side-trip to a nearby island?

Hello again, Rumee. I googled the National Archaelogical Museum in Athens and it looks like it is closed March 25. If you scroll to the bottom of this page, it looks like a lot of major sites will be closed on that date.

It's always tough when you are in a country on a major holiday. The best suggestion I can make is to ask the hotel concierge to help you. Perhaps you can book some sort of a private tour, or maybe just enjoy some long strolls around the city. I hope someone else can be of more assistance, good luck.

Thanks P_M. Will be the Ferry Service working? I may as well take a ride to Hydra / or some other nearby island. Rumee

I did another quick google and I found this:

http://www.ferries.gr/

This web page is a little cumbersome, so I would just email the company and ask that question. The address is at the bottom, but here it is:
