OK, I am leaving for my almost 3 week trip to Greece: Athens, Peloponnese, Crete, Santorini, and Athens again.

Here is my list of Athens laundries for posterity - thanks to everyone for the suggestions. I will repost when I return to let you know which I used and any other details. For long trippers like me, knowing a good laundry is indespensible.

next to the Hermes Hotel, is open Monday and Wednesday from 7am to 4pm and Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7am to 8pm; laundry costs about 5 euros per kilo (2.2 lb).
