There is a kiosk to buy tickets (validate these on the bus in the orange box) right by the stop & as you have an early morning departure my tip is to buy the tickets the day before, all you need do then is board the bus & date/time stamp them. The kiosk is not always open really early hours & then you have to buy from the driver, much easier if you already have them!
As for choice of Hotel for proximity to the bus &/or metro there are several, but with quite different budgets. Grande Bretagne, King George & Plaza are all the opposite side of the Square, cheaper range options only minutes away on foot are Amalia, Astor, Arethusa, Pan, Amazon, Hermes, Central, Cypria, Athos & Electra (not Electra Palace, that's more expensive)

Yiassas.. No worries. I need all the help I can get. We would prefer not to spend a lot on this hotel because we won't be there for long. Just one day/night. So, I do appreciate the info on price ranges on the hotels for a better comparison. Thanks ~
And, Thanks for the tip on getting the tickets the day before.
