Athens bakery
 
Can anyone reccomend a good one close (or on) Syntagma for a breakfast pastry and coffee
please as I will be less than 5min walk from Syntagma

Any ideas on prices of cheese or spinach pies ,baklava or those ones full of custard

Syntagma and especially the small streets around pedestrianized Ermou Street is full with small bakeries and shops selling all sorts of pies and other delicacies ( not necessary bakeries).

You will have no problem finding one :)

Ariston is one of many...
There are many others of equal quality where you can even have a coffee, while Ariston is a traditional bakery ( overrated in my opinion)
