At the House of King George, Prague

If anyone has stayed at this small hotel, situated in Liliova, Prague, I would dearly like to hear their comments as I am thinking of booking in there later this year.
Thanks in anticipation of your replies.

I believe that Beverly Rogers either has reservations at the House of King George or the Hotel Julian. I will email her for you, but I seem to recall that she may be in Prague this week.

Pros - excellent location Prague 1 only 100 metres from the Charles Bridge. Great rooms.

Cons - Built above the James Joyce Irish Bar so, can get a little noisy around midnight.

Here's a link for your homework, hope you like it.

Thanks for that Jason. I have already taken the plunge and booked in At the House of King George.
I have also checked your website and found it very interesting and informative.
I would think that by midnight I shall be fast asleep, the Irish bar will not give me any problems - I might even go in there for a pint of Guinness! (Do they have oysters too?)
I still look forward to a reply from Leslie as I am shall be in Prague in August and the more knowledge I have before I get there, the better I shall enjoy my visit.
Regards
Maggie.

Great location, the bar was not a problem. A little loud, yes, but a day in Prague will make a sound sleeper out of anyone.

Will say this - if cleanliness is a priority you may be disappointed. It all depends on what you are expecting.

Hi Rollie,
I have booked this accommodation for two nights at the end of a two week visit, starting in Prague with Czech friends before moving on to Slovakia to stay with more friends.
I will check the hotel out on my first visit to Prague and, if not happy with the standard of cleanliness, make other arrangments.
Thanks for the feedback.
Regards
Maggie.
