Assisi train schedule do not exist??
 

I checked two sites: Italian rail and German rail for

Florence into Assisi and return for Sunday June 14, 2009 and it shows that they do not run. Matter in fact, they do not show any more schedules for after that date. However, I also put in the dates for this upcoming Sunday and it shows a schedule.

Is there a possibility that (when far in advance) they (train sites) do not know the schedule?

It's probably Trenitalia is slow in loading the summer schedules. Just pick a day (the day of week you will be in traveling) within the next week. Schedules for simmer wont' change much.

Someone in Italy or at least Europe stated that all train schedules have to be posted by June 13th (pretty sure it is the 13th) bob. I agree with kybourbon's advice. They are suppose to show the schedules 60 days in advance but that doesn't always happen especially when there are season changes, usually very minor changes. You can just buy your train tickets at the Florence train station when you first arrive there by the way.
