Assisi Tour Guide, Anne Robichaud

The stories, cultural and linguistic insights of tour guide, Anne Robichaud, brought Assisi to life for us and opened our eyes to things we would never have noticed ourselves. Introductions to local citizens, art history, warm insights into Italian culture, food, customs and history added a deep, human richness to our trip. Anne's knowledge, enthusiasm and warmth opened doors to Italian life and encouraged discovery and understanding. We particularly valued her insights into the legacy of World War II and the impact of the holocaust in Italy as evidenced in Assisi. Our visit with her to a local family run restaurant was memorable with great food, a visit to the kitchen, discussion of Umbrian meats and customs, and some recipes to bring home. Most of all, her discussions on Italian and Church history blended intelligence and good humor in a way that connected us to Italy and the past. It would be hard to imagine a day in Assisi without her.

Thanks, Paul and Terry for your reflections on a great experience. Could you tell us how to get in touch with Anne?

Blow, don't you think you're overreacting just a bit?

I will second the positive comments about Anne. She was our guide in Assisi on a recent Tauck tour and was excellent as well as personable and funny- highly recommend.

I used Dr. Abate and was very pleased with his service. I would use him again and recommend him to everyone.

Whoops, wrong testimonial thread!

But hey Paul, nice of you to go back six pages and revive this commercial.
