art/architecture bookstores in rome?
 

we will be staying near the pantheon -- i assume there must be some interesting art/architecture bookshops around there....know of any?

There is a bookshop at Largo Argentina south of the Pantheon. Right where the buses stop. It is a large, general book shop, maybe Feltrinelli or another chain outpost.

I believe I saw a few more specialized bookshops on Via di Ripetta south of the Piazza del Popolo.

We visited a number art/architecture bookstores on our last trip. My wife was in the shopping mode for our new home.
Today there are some nice prints framed on our walls.
The Largo Argentina store probably had the best prices.
We found many other ones,but we came back to this one more than once.
We also found some nice shops
