Arriving in Prague

Our flight from Amsterdam arrives in Prague at 1:40p on a Saturday. We have checked luggage to retrieve.

Was hoping someone could brief me on what we can expect in terms of route and timeline from the moment we deplane until we meet our shuttle at Exit D by the Travelex change booth?

Thanks in advance...bdj

It's the same as any other European city. Exit the plane, follow the crowd and signs to passport control, follow the signs for the baggage claim, walk out the doors and to your shuttle. Passport control is usually no more than a few minutes. Times can vary but about 20 minutes.

Prague airport is relatively small and very easy to get through. I think you will come into T1.so you basically get of the plane and walk from the gate to the main foyer pass the shops and the passport control is at the far end of this area. if you arrive in section B it is a very short walk if section A a bit longer ,just depends on what gate number you arrive at.the longest I have ever spent at passport control is about 5 minutes and often less.once through the passport area you are right into the baggage claim hall. this area has recently been done up, nice new toilets there and there is a smokking room for those needed a smoke. From there you walk right out into the main foyer, you should see the travelex place opposite the door but there are usually loads of folk with name cards waiting for folk in this area. as Adriene says about 20 minutes from the plane to the exit, but don't worry if there are delays , your shuttle company will check the flights and will adjust their arrival time to the flights. I have used Prague-Airport shuttle many times and they have always been there even when my flight has been delayed though on one occasion they were late by about 1 minute,i think I can forgive them that.

What airline? You cannot assume you are arriving at Terminal 1. Some flights from AMS arrive at Terminal 2.

T2 is even smaller than T1,so probably quicker to get through,i personally have only arrived through T1

Since we have not had a response from the OP I assume they are no longer interested in getting help.
