The restaurant's name is actually Armand au Palais Royal. A Google search will bring up reviews and price information.

There is a nice description on reservethebest.com

This is a wonderful place, and our dinner there last week was the best of our one-month trip.

How soon does one need to make reservations at the restaurant? Our trip is over Christmas.

We ate here based on all the recommenadtions from this board. The food was very good and the service was exceptional. We asked our hotel to make the reservation for us, but I would think you could wait until maybe a few weeks before your trip?

A few days ahead should be sufficient. Checking my credit card statement, our dinner with 2 Kir Royales and a bottle of wine was $162.

On our last visit, Jean-Pierre was his usual charming self, and the cuisine was wonderful as usual. It is quite an experience to listen to his explanation of the various items on the menu, because you want to try everything. For the first course we both had his signature dish, a corn crepe with warm foie gras and a vinegar and butter sauce that is just incredible. My wife had the sole with a sauce of passion fruit and butter, I had the best lamb of my life. Passed on the cheese. Sorbet for her, and for me the warm figs and raspberries in a light cream sauce.

When I first read about Armand on this thread, I found it on reservethebest.com; however, tonight it doesn't appear on that site, no matter how I try to get it. ??
